For Halloween Season, Outlet Shoppes admitting residents to ‘The Asylum’

Spooky season is just around the corner and The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso is ready to lead the way as Halloween Headquarters for the entire Paso del Norte region.

Halloween festivities started early with the opening of The Asylum, a haunted attraction created by Los Angeles-based designer and producer Danny Vasquez.

“We’ve brought a brand new experience to El Paso,” said Vasquez. “It’s not your normal Halloween haunted house, it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen in El Paso.”

Vasquez’s work has been sought after by high-profile celebrities such as The Kardashians, George Lopez, Paris Hilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Britney Spears and many others.

An 8,000 square foot space has been transformed into a spooky chasm where attendees will be “involuntarily committed” to The Asylum, which has been overtaken by serial killers, creepy clowns, the deranged and undead lurking around every corner.

Mall officials add that Spirit Halloween store also opened their doors for shoppers this week. Visitors will find a wide assortment of costumes, accessories, and decorations to get fully kitted out for Halloween parties.

Shoppers will also be able to participate in one of those parties at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso – the Halloween costume contest will be held on Saturday, October 23 and participants will be able to win a variety of prizes.
