As the warm weather makes a comeback around the Borderland, Springtime open-air activities at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso make their return as well.
Starting this weekend, the Easter Bunny will be available for visits and selfies on Saturdays and Sundays through April 3.
There will also be giant coloring walls for shoppers to show off their creativity. “While you’re coloring, look for the QR codes to scan for a chance to win a $500 gift card,” mall officials share.
Shoppers will also experience the colors and beauty of our region come to life with live mural paintings throughout the shopping center.
Starting March 19, well-known local artists from our community, such as Paola Martinez, will decorate our walkways with their signature styles on weekends through June.
Martinez’s interest in art began at the young age of thirteen when she took her first oil painting class in Ciudad Juárez. And after leaving her practice for many years, she rediscovered her passion for arts. She decided to pursue a Painting and Art History career at the University of Texas at El Paso.
“Her inspiration comes from her travels worldwide as she brings cultural diversity to create a unison in humanity through her artwork,” officials shared.
Organizers also shared that their highly anticipated Pop-Up Market is set to return for a limited time.
“Find one-of-a-kind gifts for family and friends with local and area vendors selling arts and crafts, cosmetics, specialty items, and other unique goods,” Outlet Shoppes organizers said. “They’ll only be here for two weekends, so be sure to swing by and support local with a few purchases.”
