UTEP’s Extended University Offering Spring Break Camps, Programs for Community Members

The Professional and Public Programs (P3) at Extended University, an educational entity within The University of Texas at El Paso, is once again offering spring break camps and various programs for El Pasoans.

Via a news release, P3 officials announced a limited time offer for their upcoming camps.  Residents can save $10 off on Mini Miner Mania Spring Break Camps (promo code: MMK17) or save 10% off on Super Saturday One-Day Camps (promo code: SPRING17).

The promotion is only available via online registration at ppp.utep.edu, runs from February 6-10 and restrictions do apply. For more information on the program, interested residents can call 915-747-5142.

“For over 30 years, we have monitored the needs and interests of El Paso residents to provide the most up- to-date and innovative programming and enrichment possible,” Officials with P3 said, “it is our goal to provide an extensive selection of courses to meet the diverse interest and needs of adults, teens, children and seniors. We have a long tradition of offering quality noncredit classes, as well as business and industry training to the community.”

They add, “We foster and support the larger university mission to serve as a gateway to an improved quality of life for individuals, families and organizations throughout the El Paso Del Norte Region.”

The courses 0ffered provide:

• An outlet to the community for personal and profession enrichment (youth and adult)

• Participants with lifelong learning opportunities for pleasure, growth and/or profit.

• Preparation to those seeking or in new careers.

• The ability to maintain and upgrade professional skills.

• The ability to meet and maintain licensure requirements.

• Aid to non-native speakers preparing for admission to college and/or employment.
