Pair of Miners to run in Finals at IAAF World Championships

Portland, Ore.- Ada Benjamin (Nigeria/4x400m relay) and Abiola Onakoya (Nigeria/4x400m relay) are representing their country at the IAAF Indoor World Championships this weekend. Both runners will compete in the finals of the 4x400m relay on Sunday.

Benjamin, a current junior on the women’s track and field team, will partake in the 4x400m relay finaltomorrow afternoon at 3:20 p.m. (MT).

Onakoya, who was a part of two men’s team titles during 2012-15, will compete in the men’s 4x400m relay final at 3:50 p.m. (MT). Onakoya ran the third leg in today’s semifinals and Nigeria qualified with a time of 3:07.98.
