Fr. Leo Patalinghug to be Keynote Speaker at Catholic Foundation’s 10th Annual Dinner

Fr. Leo Patalinghug will be the keynote speaker at the Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso’s 10th Annual Foundation of Faith Dinner on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. at the El Paso Convention Center.

The dinner celebrates the Catholic faith in the El Paso community and further spreads the organization’s message of “Pray, Serve, Give.”

Patalinghug is the founder and host of Grace Before Meals, a movement that brings families back to the dinner table and away from work, school, TV, and computers. Tickets to the event are $100 for individuals or $1,000 for a table of 10.

Fr. Leo Patalinghug was born in the Philippines and raised in the Baltimore area. He developed his passion for cooking while attending seminary at the North American College in Rome. He is the host for the TV Show Savoring our Faith on EWTN, bestselling author, and contributor for newspaper and magazine.

Fr. Leo has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, EWTN, and the Food Network, where Fr. Leo defeated a world famous chef in a cooking competition called, “Throw Down! with Bobby Flay.”

The Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso will also host a VIP reception on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 6 p.m. VIP’s will be invited to enjoy a private dinner and exclusive cooking class with Fr. Patalinghug in a private home.

On Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 8:15 a.m. Fr. Leo will be present at a public youth mass at St. Raphael Parish.
