PdN Community Foundation sets Virtual Nonprofit Conference ‘REIMAGINE!’ for March

The Paso del Norte Community Foundation announced Monday the launch of the inaugural REIMAGINE! Nonprofit Conference, taking place virtually on March 11, 2021.

“Given the challenges of the current pandemic, nonprofit organizations have had to serve more people in need with fewer resources,” said Tracy Yellen, chief executive officer, Paso del Norte Community Foundation. “We  hope to provide nonprofits with the tools and environment for collaboration and open discussion where nonprofits can learn from each other’s challenges and unique business solutions and be inspired to better prepare their business models, diversify revenue streams, and plan strategically to be more flexible and responsive to change.”

As nonprofits face additional challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the REIMAGINE! conference aims to bring together the staff, executive leadership, and board members of regional nonprofits to think, develop, and grow into the future.

The virtual REIMAGINE! Nonprofit Conference will help to inspire and build the capacity of nonprofit organizations in the region by providing access to high-level, national and local thought leaders, as well as interactive professional development sessions on “Effective Storytelling”, “Making the Most of Disruption”, “Funding your Mission”, “Corporate Philanthropy & Partnerships”, and more.

Attendees will have access to real-time engagement tools to interact with other attendees and panelists during the conference, as well as a virtual networking opportunity for corporate partners, philanthropic leaders, and nonprofit advocates on Wednesday, March 10th.

REIMAGINE! Nonprofit Conference panelists will include locally and nationally respected authors, philanthropists, and corporate leaders, featuring keynote speaker, Akhtar Badshah, Founder and Chief Catalyst at Catalytic Innovators Group and former Senior Director of Microsoft Citizenship and Public Affairs, where he administered the company’s global community investment and employee programs; luncheon speaker Sylvia Acevedo, Former CEO of Girl Scouts of America, White House Commissioner & Rocket scientist; and networking event speaker: Carlos Maestas, Founder and Chief Storysmith of Key Ideas, Inc.
