Professional Indoor Football player, Alonzo Turner, Jr. partnered with Reynolds Home and spent his recent Saturday handing out goodies and much-needed supplies to the families of El Paso.
The event was known as a diaper drive, but included kitchen supplies and other household items for families in need.
Turner Jr. recently signed to the Frisco Fighters in Frisco (Tx), however before he left for the season, he wanted to give back to the place he has called home for so long.
“It was an amazing experience getting to package gifts, necessities, and treats for the family and kids that need it, said Turner. “It was an honor to work side by side with the Sergeant Major Academy, Old Navy and of course Reynolds Home to help bring happiness and joy to people’s lives.”
The Reynolds Home has been helping families for over 30 years in El Paso by providing shelter and basic necessities for their community. They shared the Easter spirit by providing goodie bags to the families who came to the drive-up event.
The Reynolds Home will be having another similar event on April 17 and will hope to see as much of the El Paso families as possible. This opportunity with Reynolds Home was the best way for Alonzo to show how much he loves his community.
