Project Vida receives $35,000 for COVID-19 related services

On Tuesday, officials with Project Vida announced their organization was awarded $35,000 from Wells Fargo Foundation. 

According to Project Vida officials, the funds will go to meet the community needs related to COVID-19. 

$30,000 of the award will help Project Vida expand child care for children of essential personnel and employees of essential businesses.

$5,000 will help Project Vida’s Homelessness Prevention & Recovery program meet emergency needs for homeless families, or those homeless due to domestic violence or a number of other family stressors related to the pandemic. 

Founded in 1991, Project Vida offers multiple services and programs throughout El Paso and Hudspeth Counties.
