Providence Children’s Hospital Opens Pediatric Imaging Center

Providence Children’s Hospital announces the opening of a new pediatric imaging center for convenient access to accurate children diagnostic testing located on 1901 N. Oregon St.

Terry Balderrama, Administrator for Pediatric Outpatient Services says that this new center and its technology allows for PCH to craft care specifically and exclusively for children.

“PCH prioritizes the comfort of children undergoing treatment which is why our team is looking forward to providing accurate diagnostic testing in a welcoming, kid-friendly environment and at convenient accessibility to their families”.

The relaxed and child-friendly environment offers general diagnostic radiology (X-ray), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound. Pediatric sedation is also offered.

Providence Children’s Hospital (PCH) is prioritizing the comfort of children in treatment with their design of advanced imaging technology to produce images using low dose radiation. PCH strives to reach accurate diagnosis through the skills of a certified team of technologists and doctors.
