Public Library offers Summer Reading Club

With the start of summer, officials with the El Paso Public Library are inviting everyone to be part of the virtual Summer Reading Club that runs through August 31.

“The Summer Reading Club is available to everyone of any age from babies to adult,” library officials shared. “The library will keep track of minutes and books read during the summer.”

In addition to the reading club, the library provides daily educational events and activities for all ages on its Facebook page.

“The interactive content available includes story time, cooking demonstrations, LEGO challenges, workshops, comedy programs and more, officials added.

Registration is now open for the reading club and anyone with our without a library card can join. By joining the reading club, participants can borrow e-books, audio books, movies, music and more from the library’s online services providers.

Participants who do not have a library card may get one free of charge by filling out a quick form on the El Paso Public Library website. Temporary library cards are also available.

For more information and to register on the Virtual Summer Reading Club, visit www.elpasopubliclibrary.org. To access virtual programming visit the El Paso Public Library Facebook page.
