Rio Grande Urology Joins National Movement to End Prostate Cancer

This weekend, Rio Grande Urology joins forces with ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer to host the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk on October 20th, 2018.

El Paso/Las Cruces joins 40+ communities across the nation as part of the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk series.  The goal is to create Generation ZERO – the first generation free of prostate cancer.

The Run/Walk promotes awareness for prostate cancer and encourages men to be informed about their risk. More than 12,600 men in Texas will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year.

Funds raised for this year’s Run/Walk event will go toward national efforts to provide research into new treatments, to enhance patient support resources, and to educate people about prostate cancer.

The race will take place at White Spur Park, 4800 Love Road in El Paso. For more information, visit the run’s website.
