UTEP soccer forward Mina Rodriguez was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Hailing from San Diego, Calif., Rodriguez led the Miners with three assists this season while ranking in a tie for second with a pair of goals.
She was regularly one of the more dynamic options on the attack for UTEP, generating two game-winning goals.
Rodriguez is the 15th player in program history to be named to the team, joining 2022 teammates Cayman Tamez (2020) and Tessa Carlin (2019) as the most recent selections.
Mina is the younger sister of Miner teammate Maia Rodriguez.
