With school just around the corner for some Borderland students and their parents, the annual School Uniform Swap returns just in time.
The 2021-2022 School Uniform Swap allows parents to turn in clean, used uniforms for a credit slip or donate outgrown uniforms to other students.
This year’s uniform swap returns to Eastlake High School, on Saturday, July 17th, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The campus is located just off Eastlake Boulevard in far east El Paso at 13000 Emerald Pass.
Local chapters of the Lions International Club, in partnership with the Socorro Independent School District, have been holding the uniform swap for years, allowing parents and their kids ‘up-cycle’ gently-used uniforms from around the area, saving money and time.
If parents want first choice in school uniforms, they can drop off uniforms now at the following locations (vouchers will go first):
- National Self Storage, 10560 N. Loop Dr.
- Xtreme Core Fitness, 125 N. Kenazo Ave. Ste I
- National Self Storage, 7620 N. Loop Dr.
