Senator John McCain, Former Presidential Candidate, Vietnam POW Dies at 81

Senator John McCain, Vietnam War hero and a man who many regard as the ‘Giant of the Senate’ died late Saturday afternoon at the age of  81.

McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer last summer, and he and his family announced earlier this week that he would discontinue the cancer treatment.

McCain ran for President twice, was a member of House of Representatives and was a six-term member of the Senate.
