Seven UTEP Softball Players Named NFCA Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Seven UTEP softball student-athletes garnered 2015-16 Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors on Thursday.

Junior Courtney Clayton, senior Erika Harrawood, junior Hope Moreno, Kawehiokalani Netane (graduated), Morgan Rasmason (using fifth-year of eligibility with the UTEP women’s soccer team), junior Kaitlin Ryder and Dani Fincham earned the NFCA accolade for maintaining a 3.50 GPA or better during the 2015-16 academic school year.

Rasmason and Harrawood earned their third NCFA awards (2014, 2015), while Clayton, Fincham, Moreno and Ryder received their second NFCA awards (2015).

For Netane, it was her first time being recognized as an NFCA Scholar-Athlete.
