Video+Story: TNTM Movie Talk – Shane Black The Predator discussion

The Predator (1987) was a huge hit movie. It introduced us to an alien that came to Earth to sport-hunt humans. Having something higher up on the food chain is a scary concept.

This alien also had technology that made it even more formidable. There were shoulder mounted laser cannons and he was able to make himself nearly invisible with digital camouflage.

Predator only gave you glimpses of the alien until near the very end. When Arnold finally knocks off the alien’s mask we get to see the beautiful design of the Predator’s face. That reveal was the highlight of the movie.

There have been several sequels to the original movie. Some were good, some were mediocre. This new sequel by Shane Black promises to be one of the good ones. We find out the Predators were doing more than sport hunting. They were collecting DNA to use to develop a super Predator, which we will see in this movie.

Do you think this new Predator movie will be good? Why or why not? Which Predator movie is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
