Sheriff’s Office: Another sex offender fails to report to Far East El Paso facility

El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the lookout for a sex offender who never made it to the facility just south of Horizon City.  The failure to report by Robert Houston Hayes is just the latest in a string of either walk-aways or  sex offenders who never show up at either of the two embattled facilities.

sxofndrAccording to EPCSO officials,  Hayes was released from the South Texas Intermediate Sanction Facility on Friday, October 23rd and was scheduled to arrive in El Paso the following day. 

Upon his arrival on Saturday, October 24th, 2015, Hayes was to notify the Texas Department of Criminal Justice of his arrival and report to 1650 Horizon (Halfway House.)

Officials say Hayes never arrived and a parole violation warrant was issued, his whereabouts are currently unknown. Hayes’ last GPS location according to the ankle monitor was Junction, TX, where he removed it and escaped. 

Hayes is now wanted on a Parole Violation. His sex offense is for Sexual Assault of a Child out of the State of Nebraska, the victim being an 11 year old female and is on Parole for Sex Offenders Duty to Register.
