On March 2nd, 2023, at about 6:30 pm., Anthony Police Department officers were flagged down at the Burger King located at 2125 Antonio St. in reference to a found body in the desert area east of their location.
Officers were directed to the desert area approximately 300 yards from the east end of 3000 Mountain Pass Blvd. That is where officers located a deceased male, approximately 20-30 years of age, with several apparent gunshot wounds.
The Anthony Police Department requested the assistance of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. The death is being handled as a homicide, and no other information is available at this.
