“Last year, Kristin, Michelle, and Angelica in conjunction with the El Paso Apartment Association raised over $12,000 for the Stand with Estela Fund with the On Wednesday We Wear Pink campaign,” organizers shared. “This was just the beginning for this dynamic trio.”
Estela Casas, the founder of Stand with Estela Fund is a breast cancer survivor. She created her fund with the support of friends when she was receiving her first chemo infusion. She wanted to do more for those battling breast cancer.
Stand with Estela raises funds with 100% of the proceeds going into the community to help women meet deductibles, pay for expensive prescriptions, wigs, electric bills, rides to chemo and so very much more. Estela donates $20,000 annually to the Estela Casas Infusion Center For Hope and Healing at UMC to further help El Pasoans fighting cancer.
