Socorro Independent School District and Goodside Health have partnered to provide free sports physicals to any SISD students participating in athletics, band or other extracurricular activities requiring a physical for the 2021–2022 school year.
District officials say the physicals will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 31 at the Socorro ISD Student Activities Complex (SAC) locker rooms.
Students must complete all registration paperwork and bring them signed the day of to receive their physicals.

Socorro ISD also has partnered with Goodside Health to bring on-demand telehealth services to SISD schools. Socorro ISD students can see a medical provider in the school health room via video chat directly on campus.
“Through the partnership, students can be tested and treated for different illnesses, such as sore throat, headache, skin rash, pink eye, upset stomach and the common cold,” Socorro ISD officials added
