Socorro ISD, Immunize El Paso to provide COVID vaccines for individuals ages 16 and over

Officials with the Socorro Independent School District, in partnership with Immunize El Paso, announced that they will be providing COVID-19 vaccinations for students and community members who are 16 years old or older this week.

The district in collaboration with Immunize El Paso has 7,000 Pfizer and 1,000 Moderna vaccinations available.

The vaccine clinic is set for April 27 to 30, from from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the SISD Police Services facility, 1180 Joe Battle Blvd.

Organizers share that the vaccines are free for anyone 16 years of age or older. Each person must pre-register to receive an appointment for the vaccine. Walk-ins cannot be accepted.

Attendees are reminded to have their ID and health insurance information on hand (if applicable),as they will be asked to provide this information during registration.
