Socorro ISD Public Relations wins 19 TSPRA awards

The Public Relations Department in the Socorro Independent School District has earned 19 Star Awards from the Texas School Public Relations Association for publications, campaigns, photos, and videos produced during the 2014-2015 school year.

The Public Relations Department was recognized for its outstanding work using various media and featuring many programs in Team SISD. The PR team won 2 Crystal Merit, 10 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze awards, and two Best of Category designations for its SISD-TV News and Achieving Success as a Team – LIVE! programs.

TSPRA’s annual Star Awards provide recognition for the outstanding education communications and projects of PR professionals who are members of the state organization.

Independent, impartial judges evaluate each work and project based on set criteria and they award Gold, Silver and Bronze Star Awards, as well as Best of Category, Crystal Commendations and the Platinum Award for an all-encompassing, year-long communications project.
