Video+Story: TNTM – Sonic the Hedgehog Trailer Review

Sonic the Hedgehog is the iconic game from Sega. Sonic is almost like a mascot for them. You think they’d be a bit more careful of how their character is depicted in movies.

We watched the trailer and were underwhelmed. The way Sonic looks in the trailer is a bit disturbing. There is just something off about him. We’re not sure Jim Carrey will be enough to save this movie.

I only slightly chuckled at one point during the trailer. If they put all the good parts in the trailer, then Sonic is doomed.

**Update**

The director must have heard us…. or maybe it was the huge internet outpouring of concern about this beloved character being made creepy. They have decided to go back to the drawing board and redesign Sonic. Let’s hope they make him a truer representation of the video game depiction.

Do you agree with us that currently Sonic looks wrong? Or do you think he looks just fine as is? Or could you care less either way? Let us know in the comments.

We have also added a Google Voice number where you can call and leave us your thoughts.  If they are good, we will use them on the show.  The number is (575) 323-1332.
