Spooktacular Carnival to take Over Coliseum this Weekend

The 28th annual Spooktacular is returning to the El Paso County Coliseum this Saturday.

Organized by the Junior Woman’s Club of El Paso, the region’s largest largest indoor children’s Halloween carnival, will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 27, at the Coliseum, located at 4100 East Paisano.

The yearly festival will feature a costume contest with prizes, a haunted house, games, a pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating, live entertainment, crafts, activities and a variety of vendor booths, all the while providing a safe and fun environment for the holiday celebration.

Costume contests will be held at 2 and 6 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for youth and free for ages 2 and under. Military discounts also will be available. Advance tickets are $3 and can be purchased from club members. Also, a coupon for $1 off a youth ticket is available online.

The Junior Woman’s Club of El Paso, founded in 1934, is a non-profit, service-based, volunteer organization dedicated to improving the community.

The club annually hosts Spooktacular to raise funds for charitable organizations across the borderland.
