Story in Man Pics: Henry Stokes Little Bowl Championships at Del Valle

On a sunny, Saturday afternoon scores of players made their way to Del Valle’s Conquest Stadium to determine the champions in three divisions of the city’s youth football league.

By the end of the day, three new champions were crowned: N.E. Raiders, Upper Valley Longhorns, and the S.E. T-Birds.  Below are the scores.

Our very own Steven Cottingham was there and we bring you his view of the game in this ‘Story in Many Pics.’

  2. I played back in the days with the T-birds when we one of a few teams here in El Paso. We won the Little bowl beating Blesses Sacrament. I bet that team doesn`t even exist. We are talking 1960`s. i don`t know but somehow we would win and win. We had good coaches who pushed us. Congrads to this years team and coaches too. GOOD LUCK FOREVER..
