Information on how businesses can best utilize COVID-19 testing resources and where to source necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) is now available on Better Business Bureau Paso del Norte’s El Paso Business Strong Web site.
“BBB is seeking to create a resource which provides actionable information for businesses who are committed to surviving COVID-19 and emerging stronger than ever,” said Marybeth Stevens, President of BBB Paso del Norte. “Based upon feedback from business owners, the site focuses on how to differentiate between health mandates and suggested guidance, safety resources for customers and employees, how to implement testing strategies for businesses and the PPE directory.”
EPBusinessStrong.org is the community’s central clearinghouse for important information for local businesses seeking to recover from the economic downturn caused by COVID-19.
Community-based information, including the location of testing sites, remains at EPStrong.org which is maintained by the City of El Paso.
The newly-launched testing and PPE resources were created by the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation, BIO El Paso-Juárez and Battelle through the City of El Paso’s Enhanced Regional Health Partnership.
“We appreciate the partnership in bringing this site together, including the MCA Foundation, their generous donors who contributed to the engagement of Battelle, and their coalition partners who have actively worked together to combat the pandemic,” Stevens said. “Battelle has provided significant scientific research, analysis and guidance related to El Paso’s COVID-19 response.”
Importantly, the site also has a comprehensive list of COVID-19 related grants and resources which have been made available through the City of El Paso.
These grants are only available to qualifying businesses within the City of El Paso through December 2020. None of the grants have to be repaid by businesses which receive them.
