Streetcar Hours Extended for Last Thursdays El Paso Events

Officials with Sun Metro announced Wednesday that the El Paso Streetcar would be extending operating hours during the Last Thursdays El Paso Art Walk and Galley Crawl.

Streetcar service hours will be extended to 11 p.m. every last Thursday of the month starting March 28, 2019.

Last Thursdays, a downtown cultural event, will run through November. The activities focus on arts, culture, and entertainment.

The streetcar offers 27 convenient stops connecting Downtown El Paso to Glory Road.

The 4.8-mile route features two loops that interconnect an array of museums, restaurants, and other establishments making it easy for riders to enjoy Last Thursdays.

Tickets can be purchased on any streetcar using the farebox (exact change of $1.50 per ride required) or at any of the ticket vending locations throughout the route.

Student, military and other discounts available.  For more information visit epstreetcar.com.

  • With too few folks riding the South segment and so many of us in the North section ready, willing and able to use the Streetcars for Chihuahua games etc. if Sun Metro does NOT adapt to their markets, they risk irrelevancy NOW and outright financial ruin once their 2 year funding grant ends.
If the City “says” quality of life” and “take mass transit” but does NOTHING then like other great wastes of grants and taxes, our beautiful Streetcars are going to be just latest example of City Council’s reach exceeding thyeir grasp.
