STTE Foundation, Innoventure at Arrowhead Center team up to launch ‘Unicorn Teens’

Success Through Technology Education (STTE) Foundation, with support from partners, is launching Unicorn Teens, a new Ed Tech app that will focus on uniting the next generation of innovators with entrepreneurial and educational programs aimed at driving startup creation and solving economic challenges.

“We are thrilled to launch Unicorn Teens in conjunction with NMSU’s Innoventure program as it allows us a solid starting point to reach a diverse and regional market base. By deploying education programs and correlating them with social media features; students will have enjoyable learning experiences, thus spurring innovation.” Joseph Sapien, STTE Executive Director.

The first educational program Unicorn Teens is launching is Innoventure which was developed by New Mexico State University (NMSU) Arrowhead Center.

Innoventure is a series of four mini-business high school competitions held throughout the school year from the region. Competitors will be encouraged to download the app and receive relevant notifications, share innovations, and post comments socially.

For the past several months, STTE has been working alongside Parabeac, the software company developing the Ed-Tech app.

Future improvement plans for the app include the integration of a step-by-step business model canvas with tools to help students with industry & market analysis as well as adding video capabilities.

Users can download the Unicorn Teens app on both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store
