IDEA Public Schools in El Paso is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. Right now, IDEA El Paso currently serves over 5,000 students in 10 schools.

We work closely with families to give students the best opportunities to be successful.”
The tuition-free public-school organization focuses on personalized learning, core subjects, critical thinking and college preparedness. IDEA’s expert teachers partner with students and families every step of the way to ensure students are prepared for success in college and life.
The deadline to apply for the 2023-24 school year is Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Parents can submit an application here.
A random lottery will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, to determine which students will fill spots available at each IDEA school. If randomly selected, you will be notified and invited to attend a “Welcome to IDEA” event where we celebrate your acceptance to IDEA and orient you to IDEA’s culture, curriculum and expectations.
Students who are not randomly selected to attend IDEA will be placed on a wait list, and the order of the wait list will be randomly determined. The applications of students on the wait list will remain on file for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. If a spot becomes available, students will be selected from the wait list, and parents will be notified of their selection and informed of the next steps.
