Students at Northwest Early College host toy drive for local hospital

The Interact Club of Northwest Early College High School, a service club of Rotary International, is hosting a toy drive for patients at El Paso Children’s Hospital during the Christmas season.

Northwest students say that they organized the effort to bless the children in loving memory of former local Canutillo resident and relative Juan Ramos.

“Juan was a loving father, grandfather, husband and a Canutillo community member,” Jesus Salgado-Ramos, Interact Club president and toy drive student organizer, said. “He lost his life to cancer on January 21 this year.”

All toy donations can be dropped off at Northwest Early College High School front office, 6701 South Desert Boulevard, until December 20, 2019.
