TNTM: Supergirl getting her own DC Comics title

If you’ve been enjoying the Supergirl TV series you’re in luck.  DC Comics is launching a Supergirl Rebirth one shot and a Supergirl recurring title.

I watched Supergirl (originally on CBS and now moved to the CW) fully expecting to not like it.  After a few episodes I found myself moving it up on my DVR priority list.  I was looking forward to seeing Kara save National City each week while maintaining her secret identity.  There were a lot of great super-hero/villain cameos, but not so many that it felt overdone.

A lot of the name dropping and easter eggs were not apparent to folks without a comic book background.

I have high hopes the comic is as successful as the TV show.  I will definitely be picking it up off the shelf and giving it a read.  I hope you do the same.
