As the first round of playoffs got underway throughout the Borderland, the Andress Eagles hosted the Hanks Knights in Northeast El Paso.
While the Knights battled valiantly, it was the home-standing Eagles that swooped in for the victory, 33-12.

Lightning and thunder could not delay a very inspired Andress Eagle team Thursday night, as they traveled to the Southside of El Paso to take on the Bowie Bears.
After a back and forth first half, the Eagles swooped in for the 38-21 victory, but the Bears still hung in there.

Socorro’s SAC featured two unbeaten teams Thursday night, with Pebble Hills hosting the Andress Eagles. Looking to avenge a loss to the Eagles last year, the Spartans started off slowly, but gained momentum as the game progressed.
While the Eagles had the early lead, Pebble Hills played determined football, overcame a couple of errors and eventually went on to a 34 to 13 win over Andress.
