In 2017, the words Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology were inescapable, now thanks to an upcoming conference, interested El Pasoans can learn about this new blend of technology and trade.
“I have been researching and using this technology for quite some time. I strongly believe it has amazing capabilities and is shifting the entire world. I want our city to be able to benefit from it. It’s very simple to learn and profit from it if you understand the background and the vision of the technology,” said Nahum Avila, organizer of the El Paso Cryptocurrency Conference.
“Blockchain technology is the future, not to mention a huge investment opportunity. It’s as significant as the creation of the internet,” said Paul Ward, an expert in cryptocurrencies. Ward will be a guest speaker at the El Paso Cryptocurrency Conference.
The conference will include two sessions, one for beginners, which will walk attendees through the technology, and one for advanced users looking to ‘step up’ their cryptocurrency game.
The El Paso Cryptocurrency Conference is scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center.
For $30, beginners will learn how blockchain technology is on the verge of revolutionizing the world and will walk away understanding how investors are applying it globally. Beginners also will learn about various cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and other alt coins; and how to get started investing in them.
For $30, advanced cryptocurrency users will learn a variety of proven techniques to trade more efficiently and explore the ins and outs of the cryptocurrency market. Attendees also will learn how to take part in pre-sales for Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), analyze companies to make sound judgments and learn how to protect their investments.
To attend both beginner and advanced conferences the cost is $50.
