Marvel used their movies to build up to the big confrontation in Avengers Infinity War. They teased Thanos here and there throughout their other movies so that when he made his big appearance in Infinity War, most people already knew all about him and what a big threat he is.
We are hoping that Marvel starts building up to another of their epic stories after the Thanos situation is resolved in Avengers Infinity War part 2. They have plenty of great line wide story arcs that would translate nicely to the big screen.
Another thing we are hoping for is to start seeing more crossover between the movies and TV shows. Cross your fingers!

Black Panther is one of those characters that most people know about, but they don’t know his back story. This movie gave you enough of his origin story along with a really great story-line to keep you interested.
T’Challa becomes King of Wakanda after the death of his father. He is thrust into the position of deciding whether to share Wakanda’s wealth and technological advances with the world to help all of humanity or to protect Wakanda citizens by continuing to let the rest of the world believe they are a poor agricultural country. Oh yea, there is also a malicious individual trying to usurp his throne at the same time.
What really set this movie apart from the rest of the Marvel movies is all the strong female leads. The women in Black Panther really steal the show. The comedy was toned down a bit in this movie as well. There were some funny spots, but not as much as in other Marvel movies. It seems like they may be gearing more to a serious tone to prepare us for Infinity War. There really isn’t much room for comedy in Infinity War.
Jack and I both really liked Black Panther. The acting was top notch, the CGI effects were realistic and didn’t detract from the scenes, and the story was very Shakespearean. There was a political undertone to the movie, but it didn’t beat you over the head with it. Black Panther is Marvels graduation from sophomore to junior. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for their upcoming movies.
