The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America North Texas Chapter, together with the El Paso Crohn’s Support Group and Texas Tech University Health Sciences, will be presenting the 2016 Patient and Family IBD Education Symposium this Saturday.
This symposium is designed to educate patients and family members, affected by the inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
The El Paso Crohn’s Support Group is a support group for the West Texas and Southern New Mexico area. The group meets on a monthly basis to share stories, provide information and support.
Local experts will present on the basics of IBD, nutrition and IBD, the difference between IBD and IBS, and pediatric IBD. The program will focus on medical, surgical and integrative approaches for managing the diseases and will address new insights.
