Coyotes Seeking Victory No. 4 at Coliseum Saturday

The El Paso Coyotes arena soccer team is on a roll. After a winless inaugural season in the Major Arena Soccer League last year, the Coyotes have won three out of four games, so far, this season and are ready to claim victory number 4.

The Coyotes face the Turlock Express at 7:05 p.m. this Saturday, December 2, at the El Paso County Coliseum (4100 E. Paisano)

El Paso, now 3-1, took down the powerful Soles de Sonora last weekend in a thrilling 10-9 victory in overtime, receiving goals from eight different Coyotes.

Midfielder Alex Caceres, who had two goals, defender Ernesto Luna, who scored the game-winner, and goalkeeper Jesus Molina, all earned MASL Team of the Week honors for their performances.

El Paso will once again look to those three, along with midfielder Christian Gutierrez to lead the charge against the Express. Gutierrez, who has 10 goals and 13 points, leads the league in scoring, is second in points per game average, second in power play goals and third in game-winning goals.

Turlock, led by forward Ivan Campos with eight goals, is 0-4 and has yet to secure its first victory of the season. The team is in last place in the Pacific Division, while the Coyotes are in second place in the Southwest Division.

Tickets, which cost $5, $10, $15 and $25, are available at the Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online.
