Ruth’s Chris Steak House, known for its delicious USDA Prime steaks served on 500° sizzling plates is coming to El Paso and will open at The Fountains at Farah in late 2016.
The legendary Ruth’s Chris Steak House brand, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, was founded in 1965 by Ruth Fertel. Fertel mortgaged her home for $22,000 to purchase “Chris Steak House,” a 60-seat restaurant located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Today, the brand continues to be driven by the company’s adherence to Ruth’s core values, and her mission to deliver the very best steak house experience.
“We are happy to announce yet another quality, nationally recognized restaurant new to the great City of El Paso,” said West Miller, President of Centergy Retail, LLC, developer of the Fountains at Farah. “The Fountains at Farah is fortunate to have been selected as the location within El Paso. The nearest Ruth’s Chris Steak House is over 400 miles away and we expect the restaurant to draw from a customer base of over 5 million people.”
The restaurant will extend the same top-notch service, food, handcrafted cocktails and award-winning wine list it offers globally, while bringing innovative new menu selections, a patio with views of El Paso and Juarez, and signature Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour.
Ruth’s Chris welcomes groups and meetings with two state-of-the art private dining rooms. From the New York Strip and Fresh Lobster to the Blackberry Sidecar and hand-selected wines, there’s something for every palate to savor.
“Ruth’s Chris Steak House is excited to bring our tradition of hospitality and quality of service to the El Paso community. We always look forward to helping more guests create memories on 500 degree sizzling plates,” said Michael O’Donnell, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
