El Paso Pro-Musica’s 40th Anniversary Season kicks off with Artistic Director and Multiple Grammy Award Winner Zuill Bailey and Pianist Elizabeth De Mio in a one of a kind interactive Concert.
The program, “The Five B’s” features the works of Beethoven, Boccherini, Bruch, Bloch and Bailey, providing insight and guiding audience members on an exceptional musical journey highlighting the amazing works to be performed.
Included are Hebraic Masterpieces including the “Kol Nidrei,” arranged by Max Bruch and the Schelomo: Hebraic Rhapsody by Ernest Bloch.
While in El Paso, Elizabeth De Mio will conduct Master Classes with students of the Department of Music as part of UTEP’s Center for Arts Entrepreneurship. Elizabeth and Zuill will also engage in the community with Educational Outreach including a stop at Deanna Davenport Elementary in Canutillo.
Elizabeth De Mio is part of the faculty at the Collaborative Piano Department of the renowned Cleveland Institute of Music.
The Concerts in El Paso and Las Cruces kick off the season, and marks 16 years that Zuill Bailey has been at the helm as Artistic Director of El Paso Pro-Musica.
