Jack and I watched the Justice League movie at Alamo Drafthouse in El Paso. We both LOVED! the movie. All the characters got their time in the spotlight. The actors really brought those characters to life. You really connected with each and every one of them.
The villain was very formidable. There were times when he appeared to be unstoppable.
The best part of the movie for me was when they brought Superman back from the dead. They actually gave him some good dialogue this time. He was more than a one dimensional boy scout type character. I am super glad they let him display a full range of emotions, including humor.
The main complaint from the critics is the CGI. Honestly, it wasn’t the best CGI work, but it in no way distracted from the story. The pacing and character development was on point. You are too involved in the story arc to think about CGI for more than a few seconds.
Like I said, we both thoroughly enjoyed the movie. You don’t have to take our word for it though. We asked some of our fellow movie-goers what they thought of the movie and they overwhelmingly agreed with us. If you want to see a good DC Comics superhero movie that is as good as, if not better than Wonder Woman, then go see Justice League. We recommend seeing it at the Alamo Drafthouse with a bowl of bottomless popcorn!

Harry Potter fans experienced a bittersweet, melancholy emotion when the final Harry Potter movie hit theaters. Then they developed the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” to give fans a little more of the Wizarding World they were yearning for.
The play was only in select theaters so not all fans were able to enjoy the continuation of the Harry Potter Universe.
To remedy this the play was released a a book/transcript. This sated the hunger for more Harry Potter for a short time. Fans desired more of the magical world J.K. Rowling created. Instead of bringing back the old favorite characters from the previous series of books, J.K. decided to explore one of the characters that was only briefly mentioned in the Harry Potter series.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is becoming a movie.
Everyone remembers the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” book the Hogwarts students needed for class. This is the book that had fangs and was a rather nasty piece of work. In order to open the book you had to pet the spine to calm it down. Well, the next movie in the Wizarding World series is based upon the man who authored that book and his story.
Newton Artemis Fido Scamander, or just Newt for short, traveled all around the world to research the magical creatures he wrote about in his book. The movie “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” focuses on his time in America.
It is 1920’s America. We had just recovered from the first World War and the Great Depression had not yet begun. There are growing dangers in the Wizarding World. Something mysterious is leaving a path of destruction in the streets. This threatens to expose the wizarding community to the Second Salemers, a fanatical faction of No-Majs (American English for Muggles).
The Second Salemers mission is to completely eradicate magic users. To add even more worry to the Wizarding World the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald has wreaked havoc throughout Europe and is now nowhere to be found.
Newt Scamander arrives in the city nearing the end of a global excursion to research and rescue magical creatures. He has safeguarded some of them in the hidden pocket dimensions of his leather case. No-Maj Jacob Kowalski inadvertently lets some of Newt’s beasts loose in a city already on edge. This is a serious breach of the Statute of Secrecy.
Former Auror Tina Goldstein uses this as her platform to regain her post. Things take an ominous turn when Percival Graves, the enigmatic Director of Magical Security at MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), casts his suspicions on both Newt and Tina.
Newt and Tina, Tina’s sister Queenie, and their new No-Maj friend Jacob work together to recover Newt’s missing beasts before they come to harm. Their mission has serious repercussions for the Wizarding and No-Maj Worlds.
