Socorro High School is in the running to be considered one of the most innovative schools and they need community support to win $60,000.
Earlier this year, the Bulldogs entered the Follett Challenge, a program created by Follett to find and reward schools for their work applying technology, content and creativity in ways that engage students, foster literacy and promote critical thinking.
As part of the competition, the school created a short video about what makes their program unique. Area residents can support Socorro by viewing the video and voting for the submission HERE.
Socorro High officials, via a news release said, “By casting your vote, you’ll help us to spread the word about all the exciting activities going on in our school…your vote could make the difference in helping our school be crowned the Follett Challenge champion!”
Twenty percent of the school’s total score is based on how students spread the word about their video and earn votes. Residents can cast one vote per day January 23–27, 2017.
