When someone mentions the words “comic con”, most people’s thoughts go to San Diego Comic Con a.k.a. Comic Con International. SDCC is the con where the big publishers, Hollywood, celebrities, etc all show up in force.
Due to the limited size of the venue at SDCC, they only sell a certain amount of tickets. The demand FAR outweighs the supply. This has caused them to implement a lottery type system for most people to get a badge to the event.
San Diego Comic Con is something that has to be experienced to fully grasp the enormity of it. Pictures and videos only do so much to paint the picture. At SDCC, the con doesn’t end at the convention center doors… it spills out for blocks into the surrounding area. There are just as many attractions outside the convention center as there are inside.
If you ever get the chance to go, do it! Even if you don’t have a ticket to get inside, you will find plenty to do outside.
Our friends at Gem Mint Collectibles put together a wrap up video for their experience at SDCC 2018. I hope you enjoy the video, and please subscribe to their YouTube channel to see more great videos from Gem and Manimal.
