I really like how Disney is giving us a Star Wars side story in between the major story-line movies. Rogue One gave us a look at how the rebels were able to get the blue prints for the Death Star. Now they are gonna shed some light on the early days of fan favorite character, Han Solo.
Judging by the trailer we will see Han’s time training as an Imperial pilot, before being booted from the program. We get to see how Han was mentored by Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson). Tobias will teach him how to navigate through galactic criminal channels.
Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) has a bit of on screen time in the trailer. I am crossing my fingers that we get to see the famous poker game where Han Solo wins the Millennium Falcon from Lando.
Chewbacca is present in the trailer too. It is not certain if they will show how Han and Chewie met. If not, hopefully we will get a stand alone Chewbacca movie.
With Ron Howard in the director’s chair, I believe this movie will be great. I must believe this! Han Solo is an iconic Star Wars character and anything less than a great movie about him would be a disappointment.
Are you looking forward to Solo: A Star Wars Story? Do you want to see Han do the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs? Let us know what you want to see in the movie in the comments.

Patrick from ZiaComics.com opens and builds the Lego Star Wars Slave I set 75060. It took him about 2 days to complete the build, but don’t worry… we time lapsed the build so it only takes a few minutes to watch it go from a pile of Legos to the completed Slave 1.
Slave I is the iconic ship owned by Jango Fett before the Clone Wars. His son/clone Boba Fett took ownership after Jango was killed by Mace Windu. Slave I is a modified Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft. Jango outfitted the craft with a number of weapons including laser cannons, projectile launchers, and seismic charges.
After several failed attempts to kill Jedi Master Mace Windu to avenge his father, Boba Fett, Aurra Sing, and Bossk traveled to the planet Florrum to meet with Sing’s friend, spice pirate Hondo Ohnaka.
Jedi Ahsoka Tano and Plo Koon captured Fett and Bossk. Aurra Sing tried to escape on Slave I. Ahsoka Tano sliced off a wing with her lightsaber. This caused Sing to lose control and crash the ship. Hondo Ohnaka took ownership of Slave I until near the end of the Clone War when it returned to Boba’s ownership.
The ship became well-known to the galaxy’s fugitives. It is recognized as being the ship of the galaxy’s deadliest bounty hunters. Boba Fett used Slave I to transport a carbon-frozen Han Solo from Cloud City to Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine during the Galactic Civil War. Originally, it had a blue base instead of the dark red. This was changed when it came into Ohnaka’s possession.
