The Riverside Rangers played host to the Horizon Scorpions on a soggy Friday night in the Lower Valley.
As in past years, the match up proved to be competitive, with the Rangers topping the Scorpions in a close one 14-7.
The Horizon Scorpions left the High Desert for the second week in a row, this time to visit the Eastwood Troopers.
The Trooper Defense earned every ‘Trooper Clap’ Friday night, shutting out the Scorpions and lifting the team to a 41-0 victory.
The Horizon Scorpions left the High Desert and headed into the Mission Valley to take on the Bulldogs at their historic home field behind Socorro High.
It was Homecoming Night for the Bulldogs, and while the Scorpions ended up beating Socorro 21-14; the Bulldog faithful still celebrated the magical night.
