The Department of Animal Services invites the community to find their furry Valentine during their special “Lucky in Love” adoption promotion.
All pet adoptions will be reduced to $7 starting February 14 through February 17 in hopes of creating love connections between pets and families.
Animal Services will be kicking off this promotion with a special lunch-time Valentine’s Day (February 14) event scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Animal Services Shelter located 5001 Fred Wilson.
During this “Lucky in Love” event, visitors will be able to participate in doggy “speed dating” in our play yard, get a kiss from a special shelter pup at the El Paso Animal Shelter Foundation kissing booth, and help give pupcakes to our shelter pets as part of their daily enrichment.
In addition to these activities, shelter staff will also be available to talk about programs and opportunities on how to get involved with the City’s “90 by 2020” mission of being a no-kill community.
All adoptions will include the pet’s spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license.
