Independent Burger and Hillside Coffee & Donut Co. have been serving El Paso their very own locally grown products and handmade meals and treats since 2013 and 2014, respectively; now their footprint extends to the east side of town.
With their new East Side location at 2260 North Zaragoza Road, near the intersection of Zaragoza and Tierra Esta, they hope to share their unique products with a larger audience.
“Much like Crave and our other restaurant and bar concepts, both Independent Burger and Hillside Coffee and Donut Co. have become part of El Paso’s food culture,” said chef Rudy Valdes. “We’re proud to be bringing them to the East Side so that more people can enjoy everything they have to offer.”
Valdes added, “Pan Y Agua is proud to bring the two popular concepts to the East Side community.”
The new Hillside Coffee & Donut Co., complete with a new drive thru, is right next door to Independent Burger. Both new locations feature each store’s unique menus.
At Hillside, coffee will be available in drip brew, nitro cold brew, and frappe – tailored to the customer’s likes. As always, Hillside’s donuts are made fresh every morning in a variety of flavors and will be made the Hillside way: squared!
As for Independent Burger, their slogan “Keeping it real” is their foundation.. They have shared their natural fresh produce, the freshest beef, and free-range turkey and chicken to prepare what they call “the realest burgers” in the city.
The new location will also carry soft-serve concrete (thick frozen custard) in place of milkshakes. The new East Side location is also accommodating to families with its family-friendly patio that has a play area for the kiddos.
Independent Burger and Hillside Coffee and Donut Co. are a part of Pan Y Agua, LLC. Pan Y Agua has seven successful concepts, including four Crave locations, Cantina Malolam, Electric Cactus, El Cuartito Ramen, and Fool’s Gold bar.
