Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo heads to the Hamptons with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton Wednesday Night with a special screening of ‘Something’s Gotta Give.’
Of the film, Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo Creative Manager Kyle Alvarado writes, “Nancy Meyers’ Something’s Gotta Give’ is an oft-forgotten film – the type of movie you curl up with and sip a glass of wine while you watch Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton do what they do best: Give you characters we genuinely care about.”
The story is simple enough: A swinger (Nicholson) on the cusp of being a senior citizen with a taste for young women falls in love with an accomplished woman (Keaton) closer to his age.
There are, of course, many pratfalls and laughs along the way, but the main pleasure of this film is watching its two talented leads grace the silver screen with smart and engaging material.
Frances McDormand, Amanda Peet and Keanu Reeves, in one of his rare romantic comedies, round out the cast.
Showtime for this 21st Century romantic-comedy is 7:30, for ticket information, click HERE.
