The Parks and Recreation Department will close the El Paso Rose Garden at 1702 North Copia Street for the winter starting Friday, November 30.
The Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Texas AgriLife and the El Paso Rose Society manage the four-acre garden that has been in existence since 1956.
In addition to roses, the garden has a walking path, waterfall, palm trees and many other amenities.
The Rose Garden is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except on official City holidays. It is also available for rental to host venues such as wedding ceremonies.
The Rose Garden will re-open to the public on March 1, 2019.
