Hear from sustainability and solar efficiency experts as they gather for the 10th Annual Eco El Paso Sustainability Conference at the historic Scottish Rite in Downtown El Paso, 301 West Missouri Avenue on October 25 and 26, 2017.
“Each year, with this conference, Eco El Paso aims to provide a platform for collaboration and innovation for improving sustainability and energy efficiency practices in our region,” said Frederic Dalbin, President of the Eco El Paso board. “This year we have excellent presenters on solar and renewable energy who will deliver relevant and important information.”
Experts in sustainability, solar photovoltaic systems and solar-ready developments will present during the two-day conference.
The event will also hold a discussion with a Climate Reality Project leader on “An Inconvenient Sequel,” the 2017 documentary film about U.S Vice President Al Gore’s campaign on global warming.
Conference topics include: construction, materiality and resiliency; residential and small commercial DG solar system; planning and design for solar readiness; health and wellness design strategies; land trust impacts in our region natural resources; comparing distributed generation rate options under El Paso Electric (EPE) rate structure; and resiliency and social justice.
During this conference, representatives from SolSmart and the Solar Foundation will be outlining the next step our city can take to build on the SolSmart Gold Award received this year for an even better solar community.
