Grammy Award winning Cellist and Artistic Director of El Paso Pro-Musica (EPPM) Zuill Bailey, will engage the community through Pop-Up performances next week at surprise locations.
According to EPPM Officials, Bailey’s mission is to “perform music in very intimate, comfortable settings and provide impromptu performances at locations where one would not normally hear a Concert.”
Bailey will also be performing on a very special, custom-made Cello.
“He will perform on his special Carbon Fiber Cello that is made out of the materials that created the “Batmobile,” and can withstand all of the elements,” EPPM officials said.
The Carbon Fiber Cello was purchased thanks to generous donors during last year’s El Paso Giving Day.
On Tuesday, July 31, he will appear at Noon at the Centre/Mills Building Lobby. Zuill will then participate in the “Kern Place Bach Crawl,” and visit a number of businesses in the area.
