The UTEP Athletics ticket office, housed in the Brumbelow Building, will get an upgrade as a result of a substantial gift from the Eisenberg family.
Officials add that the ticket office will be renamed the Eisenberg Family Ticket Office.
“We are so grateful to Cliff and Martha Eisenberg for their continuing support of UTEP Athletics,” UTEP Director of Athletics Jim Senter said. “Thanks to their generosity, the UTEP Athletics ticket office will be renovated and retrofitted, and will look better than ever before while enabling us to provide the best service to all our fans!”
“Martha and I have been long-time, ardent supporters of UTEP Athletics,” Cliff Eisenberg said. “It is our pleasure to financially assist the athletic department in its quest for improvement so that it can better serve the needs of the university and the community.”
Components of the Eisenberg family UTEP Athletics ticket office renovation project include:
- Installation of ticket windows
- Addition of a welcoming exterior landing, providing fans access to the ticket windows
- Upgrading exterior aesthetic to include new lighting, landscaping and signage
- Reconfiguration and upgrading of interior office space
- Updating of reception and waiting area
In addition, the gift will help provide professional development for the ticket office and development (Miner Athletic Club) staffs, as well as fulfill ancillary software and hardware needs.
UTEP recently announced a multi-year partnership with The Aspire Sports Marketing Group outsourcing ticket service and operations, and Aspire staff members will be housed in the new-look UTEP Athletics ticket office inside the Brumbelow Building.
Work on the Eisenberg Family Ticket Office is scheduled to begin immediately, with completion targeted for this fall.
The Brumbelow Building is located at 201 Glory Road, next to the Don Haskins Center.
